Who's accountable
A signed receipt is only as trustworthy as the party standing behind it. Here's who that is.
The operating entity
StillOS is operated by Still OS Digital Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, registered at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. Reachable at info@stillosdigitalholdings.com or +1 (307) 302-7392. Full legal terms, including governing law, are in our Terms of Service.
What we sign, and what that means
An Ed25519-signed StillOS receipt is a cryptographic proof of exactly three things: what we computed, from which named external source, and at what time. It is not a guarantee that the underlying source was itself correct, or that a decision based on it will succeed — that distinction is stated plainly in our Terms, and we hold the public-facing copy across this site to the same standard.
The dispute mechanism
If you believe a signed verdict is wrong against the source it cites, you can file a formal dispute (POST /notary/dispute, $1 filing fee, non-refundable either way — that fee exists to stop spam disputes, not to discourage real ones). The cited resolver is re-run independently of the original call. If your dispute overturns the original verdict, you are owed a payout — up to $1 — from a standing on-chain correctness bond funded specifically for this purpose. This is a real, live mechanism, not a policy statement with nothing behind it.
Operating principles
The engineering values behind how StillOS is built — verification-first, machine-native, source-traced over confidence-scored — are covered on the Company page. This page is deliberately narrower: it's about who is accountable and what recourse you have, not the mission statement.
