Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes what Still OS Digital Holdings LLC ("StillOS," "we," "us") actually collects through stillosdigitalholdings.com and the notary API, and how it's used. We wrote this to describe what the site really does, not a generic template — if a section below feels unusually specific, that's why.
1. What we collect
When you browse the site: a first-party analytics beacon records, per page view: the page path, referrer, timestamp, your IP address, screen and viewport dimensions, timezone, browser language, operating system/platform, whether your device supports touch, whether automation flags (e.g. navigator.webdriver) are present, and — when you leave a page — how long you were on it and how far you scrolled. This is used to understand real traffic and tell it apart from bots; it is not sold, not shared with ad networks, and not used to build an advertising profile of you. We do not use cookies, localStorage, or any persistent browser storage — this data is sent once per page view and once per page exit via navigator.sendBeacon, nothing is stored in your browser between visits.
When you submit the contact form: the name, email address, organization (if provided), and message you type. This is written to a permanent record and used solely to respond to your inquiry.
When you call the notary API: the request you send (including any fields you provide, e.g. an entity name to screen or a track record to grade) and, for paid calls, the on-chain payment transaction. Free-tier calls are rate-limited per caller identifier; we retain enough of the request to enforce that limit and to generate the response you asked for. Signed receipts are chain-linked and designed to be independently re-verifiable by anyone holding the receipt hash — that data is intentionally public once generated, by design of the service.
2. What we don't do
We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics scripts that build cross-site profiles. We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not share contact-form submissions with anyone outside StillOS except a service provider strictly necessary to operate the Services (e.g. our email delivery provider), under obligations no less protective than this policy.
3. Where data is hosted
The website and API run on infrastructure we operate directly. Business email runs on Google Workspace. We do not use a third-party CDN or hosting platform that would give another company standing access to site traffic data beyond normal internet routing.
4. Retention
Analytics events and contact-form submissions are retained as long as reasonably useful for operating and improving the Services, or as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Signed API receipts are retained indefinitely by design — that permanence is the point of a verifiable receipt.
5. Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except signed receipts, which are cryptographically chained and cannot be selectively deleted without breaking the chain for other callers — in that case we will tell you plainly that deletion isn't possible and why). Email info@stillosdigitalholdings.com to make a request; we will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
